Meet the Proudly Mexican Guest Chefs

Our country’s cuisine is considered a true heritage of humanity, this 22nd edition of the International Gourmet Festival, we have gathered some of the best gastronomic talents and they’re as varied as the vast Mexican geography.

Starting with one of the host states, Jalisco offers a culinary repertoire that never fails to surprise locals and strangers, the great Chef Tomas Fernandez will delight us with all the original tapatío flavor at La Ceiba Restaurant, within Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel in Puerto Vallarta.

The state of Puebla is one of the richest in terms of gastronomy, its cuisine will be elegantly represented by Chef Rurik Salazar, whom you can enjoy at the beautiful Blanca Blue restaurant, part of Garza Blanca Preserve & Spa in Puerto Vallarta.

The vast poblana cuisine, will also be present in the city of Tepic, where Emiliano Restaurant will please its guests with the distinguished culinary art of Chef Angel Vazquez Barrios, who has already conquered the most demanding palates throughout Europe and the Far East.

From the warm state of Guerrero, comes Chef Jose Luis Noriega to the legendary Coco Tropical restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, who will share his expertise that has succeeded in the best hotels in Acapulco, Cancun and Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo. Do not miss the special Theme Night, where he will merge his magic with the best Mediterranean cuisine.
