Deeply soaked in his country’s heritage, Chef Meza has a passion for traditional Mexican ingredients, forging an intimate connection with the land, sea, and nature that surrounds him. With a culinary philosophy that honors his identity and culture, Chef Meza is dedicated to using produce that is native to Mexico, and sourcing the freshest ingredients from local suppliers. With a degree in gastronomy at CESSA, Chef Meza has been trained by some of the world’s most acclaimed Michelin-star chefs, such as Martin Berasategui, Bart de Pooyer, and Rene Redzepi of Noma in Copenhagen, and Mexican top Chef Enrique Olvera.

Prior to joining The St. Regis Mexico City as Head Chef, whose functions include the culinary operation of Diana’s iconic restaurant King Cole Bar and the epitome of hotel gastronomy. La Table Krug, Huguet served as the chef of the acclaimed Estudio Millesime by American Express in Mexico City, the role of Portal Huguet was fundamental in transforming the gastronomic scene in Madrid, holding positions as Executive Chef in high profile restaurants such as the Cibeles Palace.
