Born in Bern, Switzerland, he trained as a chef at the Hotel Garten near Zurich where he obtained a diploma from the Hotel Management School in Lucerne. Ever since completing his training as chef until today, he has worked in first class establishments, in small, exclusive restaurants such as the 7 star Burj al Arab in Dubai. Currently, he is the chef advisor for the vegetarian and vegan cuisine at Le Tapis Rouge restaurant in the Grandhotel Giessbach, Switzerland in conjunction with sous chef Regina Melench. Although chef Christian Krebs is not 100% vegetarian himself, this cuisine is rising greatly in popularity and is without limits when it comes to creativity and imagination.
