November 13 to 23, 2008, begins again the 14th Festival Gourmet International Mexico en Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit – Celebrating fourteen years of culinary art and events. The Chefs of the Boutiques, First class hotels and selected Restaurants, with top chefs hailing from all over the world –Team up to thrill our Gourmet fantasies. On one of the most beautiful bays in the Pacific, Puerto Vallarta’s and Riviera Nayarit’ where creative hospitality tradition will be feted at numerous parties, tasting and dinners over the ten days dedicated to gastronomy.

The Festival Gourmet International Mexico was brought to life 14 years ago as the first event of its kind in Mexico, and has remained a benchmark for all similar festivals that followed. It has gone from success to success – perhaps because it has stayed true to its guiding principle: not competition, but the amicable and creative exchange between great master chefs and young talents from around the world remains at its core.

The 14th edition will excel with outstanding Guest chefs and together with our resident talented chefs; we will all be celebrating "haute cuisine" again in this unique world resort on the Mexican Pacific Coast.

The official events have long achieved cult status. Starting on November 13, with the "Grand Gourmet Opening Dinner", The gourmet a la carte dinner prepared during ten days cooked by skilled guest chef in each Gourmet Festival establishment, the spectacular Sunday brunch buffet, the cooking demonstrations and wine tasting, the cheeses of the world and wine party, and the legendary Chefs tables and Winemakers Dinners.

New events will enrich this year’s fanfare and raise funds for charities, such as the “Chefs Corrida theater ”, and the “Spaghettata”.
