Originally from Rosario, Sinaloa Emilio got his start in gastronomy at the age of 17 when he worked in a Villa in Sayulita, Nayarit and began to developed his abilities in the kitchen.   It was not until 2007 that he had the opportunity to work with well known chef Jose Guerrero, who at that time was the corporate chef for La Palapa Group.  Along side him he delved into the world of modern cuisine, and as such attributes a large part of his education to this great chef.  To date he has participated in 5 Gourmet Festivals with other great chefs like Felipe Gaytan, Emil Minev and Brett Villarmia.
