Meet the 2016 European Gourmet Ambassadors!

It is a great pleasure to have in this 22nd edition of the International Gourmet Festival, with the distinguished presence of more than thirty guest chefs from some of the most special corners of the world. Here below, we introduce those European visitors:

The old continent is represented by renowned chefs who have achieved great success in their countries of origin, as in the case of Chef Raymonde Wolff, from France who went from studying accounting to taking charge of her family’s wine business for over 20 years, which makes her an expert in French Cuisine and Pairing.

From Switzerland, the charismatic German Chef Andreas Fischer makes his way here, after conquering not only his co-nationals but also his neighboring Swiss diners from the best Michelin Star awarded restaurants throughout Europe. DeuxMec brings him over this year, hoping to exceed all flavor expectations.

Martin Sieberer, “The Best Chef of Austria“, according to the prestigious Gault Millau firm, sent his two star assistants Johannes Weinberger and Lisa Zebedin, who will delight us with his culinary art. Discover all the flavor of the Alps that has already been awarded with 3 Gault Millau toques.

Italy could not be left behind and therefore, it is represented by two great chefs such as Massimo Fongaro, who is fond of traditional Italian food and mix it with different cultures like Mexican and Asian. What a combination! Find him at Andrea Restaurant within Velas Vallarta Hotel.

From the beautiful region of Piedmont, comes the Chef Emanuele Olivero, passionate about Mexican cuisine and its vast amount of local ingredients along with traditional fusion cuisine of his country. Do not miss him at La Casona Restaurant, within Villa La Estancia Hotel.
